A couple who had owned the property for 25 years needed to update their home to better suit their needs and changing lifestyle. The residence was overdue for a refresh which included the replacement of all windows, cladding and interior linings. The house was renovated throughout with a rear extension of the lounge and meals area to capitalise on the houses’s natural elevation overlooking Geelong. The original Tasmanian Oak hardwood flooring was continued into the new extension with the addition of 4 Velux skylights which brightened the whole area. Extensive decking was also added with a pergola to give inside/outside living options and to maximise the north-facing view over the backyard and across the city.
